has initiated several curatorial and collaborative programmers throughout
the Northwest of England and also internationally, He has founded
the precepts of Podgy on his continued practice both as an artist
and curator, conceiving projects to touch on a wide range of concepts
and enabling research and development in the contemporary arts.
He was curator of the Egg Space 2000-2005 as a permanent gallery
space, formerly the Acorn Gallery, based in Liverpool, England.
As an Artist
Tony Knox has been involed in new line of collabarashions also has
worked on Museum man and Eight days a week on the websites, also
tony knox was was selected for the Field project that coinsides
with the Liverpool Biannuail 2006. Academic new Direction is an
MA in fine Art at Preston University.

Tony Knox
has been part of the Liverpool European City of Culture 2008 programmers
also the Liverpool Biennial 1999 and 2002 & 2004, playing an
active role in the delivery of contemporary culture. As an artist
he specializes in photography, but also has experience of working
in mixed media, and performance. He has lectured in several education
establishments in England and done residencies in a range of art
institutions. In 2004 he was commissioned to curate the Arts
in bars program (Bart).
