Collective
is a site specific art exhibition taking place in the Wellington
Mill, Ancoats, Manchester featuring 8 emerging and established British
based artists from contrasting disciplines. The exhibition will
run from 27th January to 1st February 2006 and will be followed
by a limited edition catalogue.
Each artist from sound to
sculpture to performance art will create new work within the interior
of the textile mill in response to the history and background of
the derelict mill. Lasting for only seven days; the history of the
Wellington Mill will exist within contemporary eyes, evoking a sense
of loss and nostalgia within an abandoned space, momentarily installed;
to produce a visual, conceptual and enthralling original exhibition.

Council, Awards For All, Dont Panic, Supply UK and Cusquena premium
beer.
From guerrilla marketing through to the canvas made invites : Tilfeldig
Productions maintains to produce unique, thought provoking and cutting
edge exhibitions.
600 limited edition catalogues, will be available to purchase in
places such as Collette in Paris, Cornerhouse Bookshop, Here Gallery
in Bristol and any decent law abiding art gallery, through Rant
Magazine.

Liverpool
based artist who has undertaken project and featured within the
collective show is Tony Knox is produced new work entitled to 19
months later, a short film in which Knox in a small private woods
surrounded by four 12 x 6-foot mirrors originally from the Tate
show during the Liverpool biennial 2004, Knox proceeded to produce
a pair of scissors and then started to cut away at his beard, revealing
physical similarities to his father he then adopted his father's
clothes and glasses and then started to cut away it is shoulder
length hair, transforming himself into the persona of his father
who passed away 19 months to the day of this performance.
The work was presented as a digital projection onto the hung mirrors
that previously laid in the woods five months he and whether it
be sure the vulnerabilities of life and references to a sense of
loss and a degeneration of memory.
This project has been supported by the University of Central Lancaster.

Tony
Knox as other explorations was Moth man in which Knox trained as
a wrestler to five months with garage pro wrestling and had a live
wrestling match, this was a video piece shown at the transvoyeur
show the Liverpool biannual 2004, also he organised and participated
as Moth man in a live wrestling show at jump ship rat in which he
won the rematch but sustained injury there is recently talk that
Moth Man may gain takes centre stage in another wrestling bout in
2006.

exhibition. As well as this project, Rukerebuka also is founder
and editor of Rant Magazine and Tilfeldig Productions. Rant has
