This was Tony knox last show
at the egg space, over a four and a half period he has committed
himself to assisted artist and help nurture the new Generation of
artist into the city this was on a voluntary bases, he is now concentrating
on his own art work. Friday 26th February 2005 a live Auction taken
place at egg space , There are many bargains where had, starting
at reserve price of £8 upwards the place was a full house
of people making you Bibs. All profits went to Fade 05 there was
no gallery commission. The work was at the egg space gallery throughout
the period of February 05 and was a reserved great success deal
for a good course bib and get a great deal, Podgy assisted this
project. I would like to thank Zoe for here hard work on this project,and
to all the artist over the Years and staff at the Garden.

The aim of this project was
to raise money for the catalogue fund by sales of the art work.

This artist lead space, Curator

Egg Space was originally founded under the
name The Acorn Gallery in 1984,By Janine Pinion and has a change
over of curators ,Peter Dannials, Chris
Gjertsen etc. 2000 curator Tony knox egg
space and later and changed the direction of the Acorn gallery,
During the last few years the egg cafe taken a more predominant
role ,by renaming the Acorn gallery the Egg space it became a fusion
of an independent gallery space and Cafe with it's airy atmosphere
and is a popular meeting place for artists, students and people
from every walk of life, it boasts panoramic views of the cityscape
that are second to none.
Tony knox left the eggspace after 40 shows
over four and a half years peroid for new challages,in his fine
own practise. (2000 June -2005 Febuarary)

- DIRECTIONS FROM THE M62:
At the end of the motorway, follow signs for the City Center and
Cathedrals (3 miles). Turn left at the Metropolitan Cathedral onto
Hope Street. Turn Right at the traffic lights onto Hardman Street,
go straight across into Bold Street, go all the way down until you
come to the pedestrians part, and turn right into Newington. Limited
Pay & Display parking is available on Newington, free after
6pm.
Walking
EggSpace is located in the City Center, within walking distance
of the main rail and bus stations.
Opening Hours Sunday 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm
Monday - Saturday 10.30 am- 10.00 pm
Parking
There is limited Pay & Display car parking at Egg Space, also
there are car parks at Mount Pleasant, Seel Street, Paradise Street
(24hrs), Duke Street and Hanover Street (24hrs).
Cafe /Garden
Garden (Veggie) this is know to the genial propulsion as the egg
cafe but is named the garden
2nd Floor, 16-18 Newington Buildings, Newington, Liverpool.
